Municipal Court

The Municipal Court of Uvalde, Texas is located on the second floor of City Hall.  The Municipal Court Judge is Andrew Hagen.

Regular office hours for the Clerk of Court are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

 

Defendants may plea out, pay, or leave documents with the clerk in the Utility office, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

 

Payments are made in Municipal Court, online, by phone, or by mail.

 

Payments directly to the Court, made in the Municipal Court, can be made by cash, check, money order, cashier's check, or payment card (Visa, Mastercard, or Discover). Prepaid cards are accepted.

 

Payments made by mail must be by check, money order, or cashier's check. Do not send cash by mail.

 

Pay online anytime on the Internet at TrafficPayment.com, or by calling (during normal business hours) 1.800.444.1187. You can pay fines, fees, and court costs with the Municipal Court of Uvalde at your convenience. You must have your citation number(s) and amount due to pay with TrafficPayment.com. Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express accepted. Prepaid cards accepted. Thank you.

 

When the Clerk's office is closed, the Pay Online/Pay by Phone options with TrafficPayment.com are still available as normal.

If you want to talk to the Judge, you may send a letter in the mail, or personally deliver correspondence to the Clerk of Court. Otherwise, your first opportunity to speak to the Judge will be in Open Court.
