The City of Uvalde Hires Chief of Police & Director of Finance

The City of Uvalde welcomes Robert MacDonald as the new Chief of Police and Donald Moore as the Director of Finance. Chief MacDonald comes to us from the City of Corpus Christi where he served as Captain of the Patrol Division.  Mr. Moore comes to us from the City of Port Isabel where he served as the Director of Finance.  We proudly welcome them both to our wonderful city!!     

 City Participates in Job Resources Fair with Congressman Ciro Rodriguez

Audrey Garza, City Secretary/HR Manager, and Officer Wayne Seiple represented the City of Uvalde at the Job Resources Fair sponsored by the Office of Congressman Ciro Rodriguez on June 5, 2010 at SWTJC.  The purpose of the fair was to promote local employment opportunities. 

Audrey took the opportunity to visit with the congressman about the City of Uvalde and pinned him with a City of Uvalde lapel pin.
